Meraki Talent are assisting a Glasgow based client who are looking to appoint a Compliance professional to join a newly established team.
This role sits within the second line of defence and focuses on delivering high-quality testing, thematic reviews, and control assessments across European business lines.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver independent testing and thematic reviews.
* Assess and challenge first line control frameworks.
* Maintain clear audit trails and produce concise, high-quality reports.
* Track remediation actions and review evidence for closure.
* Share findings with stakeholders and support management information reporting.
* Contribute to improving testing methodologies and the annual testing plan.
About You
* Experience in Compliance within financial services, including control testing or thematic reviews.
* Good understanding of UK regulatory requirements.
* Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
* Knowledge of global markets, banking or securities services is an advantage.
* Confident working independently and supporting junior team members.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with compliance systems.
