SALARY RANGE: £24,800 - £27,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This 6-month Partnership Assistant contract sits within the High Value Partnerships team, supporting the delivery of one of our major partnerships with McDonald’s. The role provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth execution of partnership activities and associated programmes. Additionally, the role will contribute to wider team efforts in the lead-up to and following our Appeal Show in November.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Provide comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the McDonald’s partnership including meeting support, agenda setting, note taking
* Support across key programmes of the McDonald’s partnership including Makin’ it and Fun Football
* Maintain and lead on the McDonald’s partnership activity plan, ensuring all activities are kept up to date and co-ordinate team members to deliver on time
* Provide general administrative and operational assistance to the High Value Partnerships team, referring to supervisor/manager for assistance as necessary.
* Prepare documents, presentations and other materials to a clear brief, using established formats and standard software.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of the charity’s work and the Grant Making Framework in order to communicate confidently on the issues surrounding children and young people and the impact of our work.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while seeking input when appropriate.
* Strong account management skills, including minute-taking, action tracking, and handling partner/client queries.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with confident presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Highly organised, with proven experience supporting successful event delivery and managing competing priorities.
* Collaborative team player, adept at working across organisational boundaries and providing effective administrative support.
Desired But Not Required
* Skilled in researching, analysing, and presenting information clearly and professionally.
* Partnership management experience at a charity/not for profit organisation
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong attention to detail and ability to handle routine queries independently.
