Sales coordinator

The Role: An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support one of its divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, process orders and handle enquiries
• Liaise with customers, manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure timely product delivery
• Maintain high standards of customer care
• Provide administrative support to the sales team
• Work closely with Credit Control to ensure customer accounts remain up to date
• Build and develop relationships with new and existing customers by telephone
• Process customer claims
• Support the wider sales strategy
• General sales administration duties

The Candidate

• A good standard of education and be fully IT literate
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner

You will be organised, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast‑paced sales environment. Confidence in supporting customers and an external sales team is essential, along with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.

Experience within the construction or manufacturing sector would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.

Attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are valued more highly than specific qualifications.
