Support Workers - Farnborough (GU14)

You will be working across two homes in close proximity in Farnborough, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The individuals we support appreciate sharing interests with their support workers and engaging in activities they enjoy, such as:
* Trips to the cinema or local theatres to watch plays
* Going bowling
* Listening to music, including Meat Loaf, Queen, Michael Jackson, Simply Red
* Participating in music sessions at home
* Trips to the shops for clothes or room decorations
* Enjoying coffee and cake outings
* Walking along the seaside
Not all individuals communicate verbally, but they have various ways of expressing their needs. No worries if you haven't communicated with non-verbal individuals before; Dimensions provides full training for all Support Workers. They also prefer using wheelchairs outdoors for comfort and safety.
The role involves a mix of early (7:30-15:00) and late (14:30-22:00) shifts, including one sleep-in shift per week, which is paid at a rate of £50 per shift.
Support Workers will assist with finances, meal preparation, and personal care for the individuals supported.
