An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Analyst to join a leading global investment organisation within their logistics and industrial real estate investment team. Based in London, this role works directly alongside a senior investment manager focused on direct (unlisted) real estate investments across Europe.
The Role
This is a hands-on analytical position involving financial modelling, valuation, and portfolio analytics. The role centres on the evaluation and management of large-scale logistics and industrial assets such as warehouses, distribution centres, and fulfilment facilities, supporting investment decisions and portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models in Excel.
* Conduct analysis of investment opportunities, sensitivities, and performance metrics.
* Support due diligence, reporting, and preparation of investment papers.
* Collaborate with colleagues and external partners across global offices.
* Help develop analytical tools and data models, with opportunities to apply Python or AI-assisted analysis.
Candidate Profile
* 1–3 years’ experience as a real estate or investment analyst with strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Excel and confident handling large data sets.
* Experience within real estate investment, asset management, or valuation environments.
* Background in logistics or industrial real estate is preferred, though experience in other commercial sectors will be considered.
* Degree educated in any discipline.
* Interest in technology, data analytics, or Python programming is advantageous.
* Additional European languages (German, French, Italian, or Spanish) are beneficial but not required.
Offer
* Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 (dependent on experience)
* Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote (flexible day)
