Role Definition :
To carry out all activities and roles within the Packing area in line with individual training matrix and as requested by the Packing Supervisor.
* To ensure that all product is packed to meet customer/company specifications, whilst also maximizing yield and minimizing waste.
* To ensure all tasks performed are as per training given and safe working procedures
* To work to agreed training plan, bringing any skill shortfalls/difficulties to the attention of the Packing Supervisor.
* Ensure understanding of expected standards and targets before commencing any task.
* To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to H&S and Food Safety.
* To ensure that where PPE is provided for any of the above tasks, that it is correctly worn/used, maintained and any defects reported to the relevant key colleagues.
* To have a flexible approach to workloads/hours to ensure agreed throughput and yield targets are met.
* To report any problems regarding equipment/machinery to Boning Hall management.
* To be a valued member of the team and have consideration for all colleagues
* To participate in training in accordance with your training plan
* To adhere to current legislation and Company hygiene policies with regards to safe food production and hygiene at all times
* To comply with Health & Safety rules, to prevent/minimise the risk of accidents.
* To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to Health and Safety and Food Safety at all times
* To ensure that you comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times
* Any other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar type of role and be suited to working in a fast paced environment. The candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
Previous production experience in a food factory facility would be beneficial.
