Role Overview
Reporting to the EMEA Sales Operations Manager, this role focuses on the timely and successful implementation of new complex customer engagements. The individual will advise strategic sales teams on aligning systemic capabilities with customer needs, lead process definition and project planning, and support the development of new capabilities as requirements evolve. This position is crucial in driving Arrow towards long-term market-share objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Manage and execute complex projects related to special assignments, customer-specific supply, acquisitions, mergers, change management, strategy execution, and organizational changes.
2. Oversee sales order processing, including receipt, booking, tracking shipments, delivery, billing, and backlog activities. Provide sales reports, respond to order inquiries, and resolve customer order issues.
3. Manage customer retention activities within CRM, resolve customer concerns, and develop contact strategies. Oversee return materials authorization (RMA) processes for returns, exchanges, and repairs.
4. Resolve escalated operational issues, including vendor concerns and contract reviews. Develop new processes for special services or programs.
5. Conduct market research to determine appropriate pricing for non-standard items to ensure profit margins.
6. Manage personnel development, hiring, training, and monitor staff performance.
7. Oversee customer quoting activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with rules and guidelines.
