Job Title: Social Media Assistant (Freelance/Part-Time)

About the Role
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and proactive Social Media Assistant to support our digital presence across multiple brands and projects. This is a flexible freelance opportunity designed for someone with strong content creation skills who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Create original written and visual content tailored to brand tone and aesthetic
* Use Canva (required) to design posts, reels, and stories for social media
* Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Engage with online communities: respond to comments/messages in a professional manner
* Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to suggest new ideas
* Support campaigns, launches, and events with creative content
* Collaborate with the team during brainstorming sessions (virtually or in-person if required)
Requirements
* Proven experience in social media management (freelance, employment, or projects)
* Proficiency in Canva (this will be tested as part of the application process)
* Strong understanding of content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies
* Creative mindset with attention to detail and consistency
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong written communication skills in English
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer
* Basic video editing (e.g., CapCut, Final Cut Pro X, or similar)
* Interest in wellness, lifestyle, finance, or community-led projects
