About Niaron Ltd.

Niaron Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and utilities contractor operating nationwide in the public and private sectors, with offices in Limerick and Ashbourne, Co. Meath. We have longstanding clients providing repeat business through tendered projects and framework agreements. The business has experienced significant growth over the past five years, and we are recruiting Project Managers to support this expansion, working with project teams, reactive work crews, transportation, plant departments, offices, and administrative support.


The Role

The Project Manager, reporting to the Contracts Manager, will be based on-site in the Greater Dublin Region. The role involves ensuring health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) procedures are followed and maintaining project profitability through efficient resource management, including internal plant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering and utility works, enabling effective project oversight. Responsibilities include leading project completion, adhering to HSEQ standards, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Project Manager will coordinate teams and implement safety management systems to deliver exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
2. Develop construction plans, budgets, and schedules.
3. Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for efficient delivery.
4. Define project goals with stakeholders and ensure adherence to specifications.
5. Conduct site inspections to monitor safety, progress, and resolve issues.
6. Manage budgets, including cost estimation, procurement, and tracking.
7. Optimize resource allocation for labor, equipment, and materials.
8. Implement cost control measures to maintain profitability.
9. Review subcontractor payments and prepare approval certificates.
10. Ensure quality standards and regulations are met throughout the project.
11. Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.
12. Address quality issues promptly.
13. Lead and manage internal project teams and subcontract personnel.
14. Promote effective communication and teamwork.
15. Hold regular meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders.
16. Act as the primary contact for clients, handling queries and reports.


Qualifications and Experience

* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; Project Management qualification preferred.
* Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives.
* Strong management and communication skills.
* Experience training and mentoring team members.
* Proficiency in project management software, programming, and AutoCAD.
* Minimum five years of project management experience in civil engineering/utilities sectors.
* Knowledge of civil engineering standards, specifications, and regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
* Negotiation skills.
* Valid Safepass, Manual Handling certification, and full clean driving license.
