Embedded Software Engineer
A manufacturer of automation equipment is now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Nottinghamshire. They are seeking an Embedded System Engineer with expertise in product safety, EMC design, thermal management, and test design.
Your role will span various areas including PCB design, embedded systems, sensing technology, networking, CCTV and more. You'll work on projects for UK, Europe, and North America markets.
Responsibilities of the Embedded Software Engineer will include:
1. Develop Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) and customisable power/communication systems for safety critical applications.
2. Conduct Critical Design Reviews and contribute to installation manuals.
3. Contribute to quality management system improvements (ISO 9001:2015).
4. Stay updated on relevant standards such as EN 50126, 50128, 50129.
Requirements of the Embedded Software Engineer:
5. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
6. Previous electronics engineering experience.
7. Ability to develop technical proposals.
8. Rail signal and communications experience (preferred).
9. Remote condition monitoring experience (preferred).
10. Experience with large organisations or government agencies (preferred).
Benefits:
11. Salary: £40,000-£46,000 per annum.
12. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
