Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Rail Administrator / Sentinel Coordinator to support and streamline our busy trackside operations team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the implementation and day-to-day coordination of the Sentinel safety system, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and the smooth running of our rail division. You'll work closely with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on track, while also providing exceptional support to our operations team.
Key Responsibilities Sentinel System:
* Coordinate all Sentinel tasks and data control Lead Sentinel compliance
* Sponsor individuals
* Oversee competence control
* Manage medicals
* Ensure D&A compliance
* Manage Sentinel cards
* Handle TVP administration and control
* Coordinate training
* Maintain the training matrix
* Oversee fatigue management
* Control training certification
* Ensure RTAS compliance
* Maintain strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
* Manage document control
Additional:
Provide training, guidance, and process oversight for new rail personnel to ensure a thorough understanding of the Sentinel process.
Regularly monitor and update the Sentinel system to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Maintain detailed documentation on the Sentinel system and user guidelines, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Perform general administrative duties as required.
Experience:
Proven experience in system administration and coordination within the rail sector, with the ability to work on your own initiative (desirable)
In-depth knowledge of Sentinel protocols and regulatory compliance
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, particularly in a rail operational context
