As a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will manage complex cases, carry out advanced surgical interventions, and lead a team of clinicians to deliver outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive eye examinations to accurately diagnose ocular diseases and disorders.
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans customized to patient needs.
* Conduct advanced surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgeries, and retinal interventions.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise junior ophthalmologists and medical staff.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed on the latest ophthalmology innovations and techniques.
* Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance with medical regulations and standards.
* Educate patients and their families on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Requirements
* Medical degree (MD or DO) with a completed ophthalmology residency.
* Board certification in Ophthalmology is required.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ophthalmology, preferably in a leading healthcare facility.
* Proven expertise in performing a wide range of complex ophthalmic surgeries.
* Comprehensive knowledge of ocular diseases, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
* Strong leadership qualities with experience mentoring and managing clinical teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex medical cases efficiently.
