Onshore Planner Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Onshore Planner based in Aberdeen or Barrow. This is a long-term contract role within the Production Operations team. The role is required to support ops/maintenance planning for the Gas Terminal. Ideally the candidate will be based at site, but alternatively they can be Aberdeen-based with monthly visits to the terminal. In this role the contractor will be required to deliver daily support to operations, providing guidance on prioritization. They will be responsible for compiling and facilitating the 28 day and 3M plans, ensuring engagement with key stakeholders for plan entry, and execution preparedness, for delivery in the 28-day window. Purpose StatementThe Planner implements, drives, and continuously identifies opportunities to improve the company Planning Process, ensuring consistency, diligence, rigor and industry best practice for developing plansDaily support to Operations providing guidance in prioritisation to the Operations Manager - Onshore along with associated operations teams as appropriate.Responsible for compiling and facilitating the 28 day and 3M plans, ensuring engagement with key stakeholders for plan entry and execution preparedness for delivery in the 28-day window. Key participant in the 8Q planning process Role Deliverables and Responsibilities:Integrated asset plan for onshore operations and resourcing.Produce 4W plan weekly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functions including Projects and DecommissioningProduce 3M plan monthly, incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functionsSupport development of the 8Q plan, understanding the business drivers and commitments while incorporating activities from operations and other relevant functionsSupport the schedulers to ensure combined plans and schedules are implemented to maximize resource efficiency and achieve Schedule complianceImplements standard planning practice and produces the data to measure plan attainment Enforces planning process stage gatesOptimises integrated plan for efficiencies and identifies SIMOPS clashesEnsure oversight of the barrier model is maintained and integrated with the plan as appropriate.Maintain oversight of ORA’s on the IAPIdentify and support delivery of business improvement opportunities within relevant area of the business.Ability to provide cover for offshore planner when required.
