My client - a highly respected regional main contractor - is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee several live projects up to £10m in value, spanning commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and community developments.

The Role
As Contracts Manager, you’ll take strategic oversight of several schemes from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring operational, commercial, and quality targets are delivered to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing multiple projects up to £10m across the South West
* Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Site Managers, and operational teams
* Driving programme, quality, and safety standards on all live sites
* Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
* Supporting pre-construction, planning, and resourcing activities
* Tackling challenges proactively and ensuring seamless project deliveryEnsuring each project aligns with the company’s standards, values, and long-term objectives
This is a highly influential role with genuine autonomy and visibility at senior level.
You will likely be:
* An experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step up
* Proven across main contracting with projects up to £10m
* Strong technically, commercially, and operationally
* A natural leader who inspires high-performing delivery teams
* Excellent at client relationships, communication, and problem solving
* Highly organised and confident managing multiple live sites
* Based in or commutable to Bristol / South West
