Job Purpose
Accountable to the Logistic Support Manager for the timely and efficient coordination / delivery of logistic support services to JDT's Operations Groups and including: coordination of stores/ equipment and plant movements, on‑site support to engineering teams, and depot stores and materiel management to enable Operations Groups to achieve their directed targets, whilst ensuring compliance, safety, efficiency and cost‑effective utilisation of JDT assets.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver logistic support to the Op Gp as directed by the Logistic Support Manager
* Line Manage dept members (LSO, LOs) routine activity and personal administration as required (including timesheets, trg requirements, qualification compliance, inductions etc).
* Coordinate dept members routine activities ensuring Op Gp requirements are maintained.
* Liaise and coordinate with Op Gp Staff (Hd of Gp / Snr Mngr) on a regular basis to ensure operational programme is understood and supportable. Raise concerns to Ops Gp / Log Head Office as required.
* Coordinate / manage deport plant assets (owned & hired), Chapter 8 stores, Bulk Fuel Pods, safety critical equipment, tooling, and general stores to support the operational requirement and Logistic direction.
* Manage the Wessex depot real‑estate to ensure security, H&S, Fire compliance.
* Building custodian for all building within depot, ensuring fit for purpose and compliant working environment for all occupants.
* Plan and manage stores requirements (demands, receipts, issues) maintain correct stock levels for Op Gp requirements.
* Maintain stores accounts, using company Information Management Systems (i.e. Ctrl Hub, PULSE).
* Understand and coordinate and conduct all activities in accordance with JDT direction /Industry standards (HSWA 1974)
* Coordinate the upkeep and condition of company vehicles on your charge including completion of the daily check and the reporting of any defects.
* Driving in a safe manner following all driving regulations.
* Assist the LogMan as required in the task of providing logistic support for the company /Depot.

* Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 per annum (dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience).
