About the Role As an Experienced Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering short-term, therapist-led interventions that prevent, reduce, and delay the need for ongoing services. Youll work closely with customers, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to design creative reablement plans, assess needs, and provide equipment and adaptations that enable independence.
What Youll Do Undertake complex occupational therapy assessments and create tailored support plans.
Manage a varied caseload, including challenging cases, and provide guidance to colleagues.
Recommend and oversee home adaptations and specialist equipment.
Deliver professional supervision and support to team members.
Work collaboratively with health professionals, voluntary sector partners, and families.
Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met in line with legislation and local policy.
About You Were looking for a qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with:
At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
Excellent knowledge of health, housing, and social care legislation.
Expertise in reablement, moving and handling assessments, and adaptations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Ability to travel across Wiltshire and occasionally work outside standard hours.
