Where
We are based in Whitchurch, Hampshire in a contemporary custom conversion of an old Chapel. It is a creative environment designed to nurture the best of the best and reward them with state of the art facilities, social space, and even a gym.
You
You are a capable product designer approaching complex design challenges with inventive, practical, and aesthetically refined ideas. Experience is important—talent and attitude is vital. You are bright, you can’t help but wonder about the world, and you challenge assumptions to create refined, beautifully considered products. You enjoy being busy and working at pace, balancing creative ambition with commercial awareness. You devour emerging design, material, and technology trends, fueling your uncompromising pursuit of originality. You have sound general manufacturing and material knowledge for casting, moulding and fabrication and an avid curiosity for new technologies and processes. You are happy rolling up your sleeves to build rigs and mock‑ups to explore your ideas and verify the performance of your designs. You are self‑motivated, have pride in achievement, and can communicate and direct suppliers. You have a good taste in music and make the occasional wise crack.
What will you do?
* Design products and work in all aspects of the design process, from early concepts to final manufacture.
* Explore concepts in CAD, build rigs, and test theories that bring new ideas to life.
* Put the ‘How’ into ‘What if’.
* Use SolidWorks and KeyShot as your primary tools.
* Communicate your ideas clearly through stunning visuals, presentations, and documentation.

Requirements
* Education – Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in product design or related fields.
* Experience – Minimum 2‑3 years in a relevant industry.
* Design for Manufacture – Previous experience designing products for production, experience with a variety of manufacturing techniques is preferred. Ideally within a consultancy setting.
* Software Skills:
o SolidWorks – Proficient for concept generation, product detailing and engineering drawings. (SolidWorks FEA/CFD experience is beneficial)
o KeyShot – Experience using KeyShot for rendering and production of high quality visuals.
o Microsoft Office – Comfortable with Excel, Word and PowerPoint for internal and external communication.
o Adobe Suite – Familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
* Basic Electronics – Experience working with electronics and prototyping with Arduino/Raspberry Pi preferred.
The role is full time – within our stunning studio. We offer flexi‑time around our core hours and a half‑day on Friday.
