Marketing Manchester (MM) is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Marketing Executive to join its vibrant team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping, executing, and evaluating strategic marketing initiatives that position Manchester as a premier destination for business and leisure tourism.
Marketing Manchester is the city-region’s Destination Marketing Organisation and promotes Greater Manchester nationally and internationally as a place to visit, invest, meet and study.
Key Responsibilities
* Input into, and occasionally lead, the planning, execution, and evaluation of leisure marketing campaigns, events, trade shows, and familiarisation visits.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, securing input and approvals across a range of marketing opportunities and collateral.
* Manage marketing databases and deliver consistent, targeted E-CRM communications.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure all activities are delivered on time, and within budget.
* Contribute to strategic planning and support the rollout of delivery plans.
* Optimise marketing budgets to achieve maximum impact and ROI.
About you
Proven expertise in marketing and communications, gained through previous work experience, or backed by a professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or Tourism.
A confident, collaborative, and solutions-focused executive with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement.
Skills Required
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications environment, with flexibility for candidates who demonstrate strong relevant skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce high-quality documents, presentations, and reports.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working across diverse teams.
* Strong planning and organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a focus on engaging and impactful messaging.
