AIS Marine are looking for a Site Supervisor who will play a central role in supporting the Operations manager (leisure) across the office, factory and on client sites, ensuring projects run smoothly from initial planning through to final delivery. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining coordination, documentation control, planning, and on‑site product delivery.
This position suits an organised, proactive individual who is comfortable working across multiple environments and trades and taking ownership of small projects from start to finish.
What Will Do As Our Site Supervisor
* Control the full lifecycle of leisure projects, including planning, scheduling, installation, site visits, and final sign‑off
* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
* Coordinate labour, materials, and resources across site and production to ensure efficient delivery.
* Support project planning and scheduling within the office and provide hands‑on assistance to production when required (this may include supporting other areas of the business).
* Maintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress to ensure alignment between operations and procurement.
* Prepare and distribute RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for onsite works.
* Oversee and actively support daily assembly and installation activities in both the factory and on client sites.
* Work across multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, mechanical assembly, or general building as required.
* Use a range of hand tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
* Follow technical drawings, specifications, and production instructions.
* Provide support to the sales team during the development and delivery of new projects.
What Are We Looking For In Our Site Supervisor
* Previous experience in one or more of the following: carpentry, building, plumbing, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, vehicle spraying, or engineering (preferred but not essential).
* Experience working in construction or manufacturing environments.
* Competent using hand tools and workshop equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 and experience preparing RAMS is advantageous.
This is a hands‑on and varied role that requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. A background in construction/maintenance/manufacturing and fabrication environments will be key in fostering collaboration, problem‑solving, and innovation, while also maintaining structure, consistency, and high standards across all areas.
You must be willing to travel anywhere in the UK at short notice and stays away are frequent.
