To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
* Acting as the home’s nurse expert, combining nursing skills with managerial and leadership skills.
* Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, making far‑reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
* Care plan development and assessments.
* Selectively looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care.
Preferred Experience & Skills
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
* Good clinical skills.
* Promoting ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.
Remuneration and Benefits
* Annual salary of £50,000 per annum.
