Electrical fitter position available with a successful team at busy engineering company based near York. The ideal candidate will assist electricians, electrcial fitters and wirers in various tasks related to electrical installations and maintenance. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Paying a staring hourly rate of £13.00 per hour and £19.50 for overtime hours. All rates are PAYE so you will receive Holiday pay and other benefits. Excellent long term career prospects also available.
Responsibilities
* Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
* Prepare work areas by cleaning and organising materials and tools.
* Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of qualified electricians.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
