This business are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis reporting into the Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and update supplier accounts * Match purchase invoices to goods received and process accordingly * Allocate and reconcile supplier payments * Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and balance sheets * Prepare payment runs in given deadlines * Manage employee expense claims * Support bank reconciliations and other month-end processes * Deal with queries * Assist with internal audits when required Skills & Competencies: * Experience in purchase ledger (essential) * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities * High level of dependability and ethical standards * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems * Ability to work with urgency and meet deadlines The benefits on offer: * Salary - £26,000 * Full-time office-based working * 37.5 hours per week 8.45am - 5pm * 26 days plus 8 bank holidays * Free on-site parking * Pension Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
