Overview
What you’ll be doing:
* Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered ready for delivery to their doorsteps, or providing substitutions when products are out of stock
* Using a handheld device to plan routes around the store, identify what to select and manage time to complete each order
* Working behind the scenes with customer queries, processing orders and helping to load the vans for Home Delivery Drivers
* Always ready to serve customers brilliantly, answering questions and proactively offering help
* Build strong knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations
* Work flexibly across the store as required

Our stores are fast-paced environments where no two days are the same and food is our passion. They are at the heart of the local community, providing outstanding value, unbeatable quality and great service. As an Online Assistant, you’ll deliver a joyful shopping experience for our online customers, so they receive everything they shopped for at Sainsbury’s.
Eligibility
* You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (school leaving age)
* If shifts include hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
