Clinical Research Support Worker
37 Hours FT for 2 years, x 2 posts
We are looking for someone to join our clinical research team as a Band 3 Clinical Research Support Worker. The suitable candidates should be interested in an exciting, diverse, and challenging role, consisting of clinical and administrative duties, within the various Clinical Research Facilities at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Previous experience in clinical research is advantageous; however, consideration will be given to candidates with suitable previous experience and a keen willingness to learn. The candidate will require excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work flexibly in response to clinical research demands.
Through training and supervision, you will develop the clinical and administrative research skills necessary to deliver exceptional clinical research care, supporting patients involved in studies. You will work alongside a well-established team of clinical research nurses. Duties include data input, filing, sample collection and processing, and some patient-facing clinical tasks.
This role may interest individuals from various healthcare disciplines, such as healthcare support workers and phlebotomists.
