The Site Operations Centre are seeking proactive and compassionate Patient Transfer Assistants to support the safe, efficient and timely transfer of patients within the hospital. In this essential role, you’ll provide support and collaborate with clinical and operational teams across the Trust to deliver a high quality service to our patients at all times. You’ll be responsible for daily tasks such as the transfer of patients and equipment between departments, stocking of linen trolleys and supplies, ensuring cleanliness of wheelchairs and beds, and performing urgent runs to the labs or for diagnostic imaging. You will also play an important role in maintaining bed/trolley stock, ensuring they are clean, available, and ready for use, while fostering a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, adhere to infection control policies, and maintain patient safety at all times.
