About Our Client
An independently owned accountancy practice based across multiple sites in the Midlands. This firm has a large and established owner managed business client based but has also expanded more recently to service larger clients, including those reporting to IFRS accounting standards.
Job Description
3. Leading audit engagements and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
4. Providing technical expertise to team members and clients within the business services sector.
5. Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor in all audit-related matters.
6. Supervising and mentoring junior team members to enhance their professional development.
7. Reviewing and approving audit workpapers and reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
8. Assisting in business development initiatives, including client pitches and proposals.
9. Ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations within the Accounting & Finance department.
10. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
11. A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA), an RI qualification would be preferable
12. Excellent communication skills for managing client relationships effectively
13. Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide junior team members
14. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
