Overview
Location: Site Based, Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Typically working Monday to Friday, 39 hours.
As a skilled Painter & Decorator, you have the knowledge and experience to excel in your trade. At Novus, you are trusted to apply your painting skills in an environment with like-minded teammates, focused on delivering for customers and each other. You will contribute to decisions in a role with responsibility and job security, delivering work with compassion and care.
Your role will work alongside a team of trade colleagues completing minor works and project refurbishments within a live University environment. You will also have access to training and development to ensure continuous learning and progression.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience
* Previous experience as a dedicated Painter and Decorator
* Work alongside a team of trade colleagues to refurbish commercial/education properties
* Internal painting works on classrooms, labs, offices, and residential areas; some prep and finishing works including ceilings, walls, woodwork and doors; comfortable working at height
* Evidence of qualifications and training; minimum level 2 in Painting and Decorating
* Experience in the Education Sector is desirable but not essential
* Experience working in a live environment is essential
* Ability to hit targets weekly and manage workload effectively
* Deliver outstanding service to customers while working in their facilities
* Follow Novus’ Health and Safety policies and standards
* A full UK driving licence is essential
About You
The successful Painter and Decorator will possess a Painting qualification and the ability to work across multiple sites. Further training, including Health and Safety, will be provided. It is important to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and to work in a team to deliver great service. We have exciting growth plans and seek ambitious people.
