Account Director - New Business - IT Managed Services
Overview
We’re working with a fast-growing, ambitious Managed Service Provider (MSP) specialising in the AEC sector, looking to hire a high-calibre New Business Account Director
This role is ideal for a driven, proactive salesperson who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, opening new doors, and winning net new business in a performance-led environment.
Location & Working Pattern
* London-based role
* Hybrid model: 2 days working from home, 3 days in London (office and/or client meetings)
The Opportunity
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving new business growth within a modern, well-supported sales function. This is a true “hunter” position with autonomy and clear expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and own a high-quality sales pipeline
* Identify, target, and win new logo opportunities
* Lead detailed discovery conversations with prospective clients
* Shape and position complex MSP / infrastructure solutions
* Collaborate closely with technical and delivery teams
* Close new business and support long-term account growth
What We’re Looking For
* Proven track record in new business / “hunter” sales roles
* Strong prospecting and pipeline generation capability
* High energy, resilience, and a proactive mindset
* Confidence operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
* Commercial awareness with a structured, methodical approach to winning deals
* Experience within MSP, IT infrastructure, or AEC sectors (advantageous)
Package & Incentives
* Base Salary: £75,000 – £90,000
* OTE: Realistic double OTE (£150,000 – £180,000)
* New Logo Bonus: Additional incentives for landing new clients
* Accelerators: Uncapped commission with strong accelerators for overperformance
* Clear earnings visibility aligned to performance
