Positions available:

1. 35-hour post: Monday – Friday, 10am – 5.30pm (flexible)
2. 17.5-hour post: Wednesday 3.30pm – 9.30pm & Friday 3.30pm – 9pm (flexible)

Clackmannanshire Women’s Aid is a registered charity providing information, support, and refuge for women, children, and young people subjected to or experiencing domestic abuse. Our vision is a world without domestic abuse, where changing attitudes can change lives.


Role

To provide an Outreach Service to women who have experienced domestic abuse and relief cover for the Refuge-Based Family Support Worker. The post involves working directly with women, children & young people, offering crisis intervention, information, support, and advocacy services in the community, at home, or at refuge.

The post holder will provide relief cover for the Refuge Worker as needed, including during leave or sickness, delivering refuge support services to ensure safety, wellbeing, and support of women, children, and young people in refuge. Flexibility, crisis response capability, and teamwork are essential.

This role focuses on practical and emotional support to women who have experienced domestic abuse, supporting those in safe accommodation and outreach services. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience supporting vulnerable clients and hold an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or be willing to undertake this after probation.

The vacancy offers £29,502 full-time equivalent per annum (£16.21/hour) plus a 4% pension contribution. Additional benefits include access to an employee assistance program and healthcare scheme (hospital Saturday fund).

This role involves participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota (once every 6-7 weeks), with additional pay.

Fife Women’s Aid seeks a part-time worker to provide advice, advocacy, and support to children, young people, and families affected by domestic abuse. Experience in social care support is required.

Applicants should have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent in childcare or a relevant subject, or be willing to work towards it. Flexibility and the ability to cover on-call duties (additional pay) are advantageous.
