Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: West Bromwich Salary: Up to £50,000 Benefits Shifts: 4 on 4 off About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing business. You’ll play a key role in keeping production lines running smoothly, minimising downtime, and ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment. * Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults. * Support continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and efficiency. * Work closely with production teams to resolve breakdowns quickly and minimise disruption. * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations. * Accurately record maintenance activities and keep documentation up to date. About You * Time-served Engineer with a recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. * Confident fault-finding across both electrical and mechanical systems. * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment (food industry experience desirable). * A proactive problem solver with a hands-on approach. * Flexible and reliable with the ability to thrive in a team environment
