We have a fantastic new opportunity with our client, a European airline.
They are looking for a Disruption Investigation Officer Paralegal to join their team for 6+ months.
The role will be hybrid, with candidates required to attend their office in Luton. It is really important that the successful candidates can comfortably commute to Luton to work.
Responsibilities
The role will include assisting the wider team with preparing for potential claims in court, and the successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the management, coordination and processing of Disruption information to enable legal claims to be successfully challenged. Some of the Review disruption events & decide on the level of disruption information to be evidenced.
* Liaise with their internal teams to gather supporting disruption information, to include:
* The root cause of the disruption
* The measures taken
* The customer welfare is provided
* Proficiently interrogate various aviation systems and deduce an interrelationship between these systems to create a lucid and coherent picture of matters affecting the airline's operation in times of disruption, and that is affecting the efforts the airline took to recover its flight program from that disruption.
* To provide all necessary documentation to support our client's external and internal legal representatives, including forwarding evidence packs and creating trial bundles
* Actively support the overriding responsibility to ensure that our client delivers the highest possible service levels for its passengers. Ensure that there is a high degree of professionalism in customer correspondence and that all customers are treated with courtesy and respect.
* Provide support to the legal team in regards to upcoming court proceedings
* Maintain the disruption evidence information matrix, continuously improving based on feedback
* Maintaining the disruption evidence information database, ensuring evidence packs are accessible
Requirements
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, driven and hard-working. The ideal candidate will also be curious, have strong attention to detail skills and be able to hit the ground running. The successful candidate should have experience using Excel.

* Pay: £15 per hour (made up of £13.38 basic pay and £1.62 holiday pay).
