HR Generalist Job Description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an HR Generalist to provide key local HR support at our production site in Campsie. The role involves supporting Operational Managers across all aspects of their people strategy and being a vital member of the HR team supporting large-scale manufacturing operations in Ireland.
Responsibilities include:
1. Utilizing HR and other business systems to build and report on employee KPIs to facilitate fact-based decision-making.
2. Monitoring HR data for accuracy and quality management.
3. Providing HR advice, guidance, and support to management and staff in line with company policy and employment legislation across the manufacturing network in Ireland.
4. Assisting with HR systems integration and change management initiatives.
5. Supporting managers in staff management and achievement of objectives.
6. Driving HR-related business initiatives and improvements.
7. Identifying and evaluating development needs within the business.
8. Developing departmental development plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Ensuring compliance with HR procedures and assisting with recruitment processes.
10. Resolving HR issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
11. Maintaining personnel records and providing data for payroll processing.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR-related role, with employee relations expertise.
* HR or relevant degree is advantageous.
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, HCM, and ORC is beneficial.
* Proficiency in IT, HR databases, and MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Demands: Must be present on a manufacturing site, observe PPE and EHS policies.
Travel: Up to 10% travel to other sites in Ireland (Burnfoot or Letterkenny).
