A well-established Design & Build main contractor in the Midlands has secured a strong pipeline of work starting this spring and is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.
Projects typically range up from £20 Million to £100 Million across a variety of sectors, offering a good mix of schemes. You won’t be pricing or managing the same type of project repeatedly—there’s enough diversity here to keep things engaging and commercially challenging.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the commercial management of a £30M project in the East Midlands
* Procuring and managing subcontractors, including negotiation, and contract administration
* Working closely with operational, design, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities early
* Overseeing valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts
* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and programme targets
