Futures is looking to appoint a HR Advisor for a highly regarded manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly with managers, and operate confidently in a fast-paced, operational environment. Reporting into the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting line managers across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, and learning & development support. Roles and Responsibilities Act as a trusted HR partner to line managers, providing pragmatic and commercial advice on people matters Support and manage a range of employee relations cases including performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters Coach and guide managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams effectively Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives, identifying training needs and helping embed best practice Assist with HR projects, policy implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure HR processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation and company values Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to reporting and data insights The Ideal Candidate Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice An excellent communicator who can influence, challenge, and build relationships at all levels Confident, resilient, and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance empathy and commercial judgement Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Passion for people development and supporting learning and capability growth across the business This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known manufacturing organisation where HR plays a visible and valued role.
