About the Role
We are working with a Further Education College in London who are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Lecturer. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and training to learners across a variety of programmes, supporting them in developing the knowledge and practical skills required for careers in the plumbing industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, practical plumbing lessons across Level 1-3 programmes
* Plan, prepare, and deliver teaching in line with curriculum and awarding body standards
* Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Support and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals
* Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
* Relevant industry experience
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to engage and inspire learners in an FE setting
* Commitment to safeguarding and student success
Desirable
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one
* Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/CAVA)
* Previous experience teaching in Further Education
