Their focus is on providing best-in-class products in Gynaecology, Colorectal, Electrosurgical, Surgical Suction, Endoscopy, and Instrumentation categories. Their recently constructed, purpose-built distribution centre in Ashburton enables them to supply these critical medical devices nationwide, serving as the hub of their global supply chain excellence.
About the Role
The role reports to the General Manager. As a Medical Sales Team Leader, you will manage and lead a team of sales representatives and spearhead business development efforts to expand market reach and achieve revenue targets. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. It is based in Ashburton; relocation is preferred if outside the area, though candidates in Christchurch or Timaru will be considered, with at least two days per week in Ashburton. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm.
Candidate Profile
Ideally, you will have experience in the medical industry and a strong understanding of healthcare; however, we will also consider other strong sales leaders with a proven track record. Key attributes include:
* Solid experience in medical sales management with revenues of $20m+ and a successful track record in exceeding sales targets and leading teams
* Business development experience with strategic sales planning skills
* Team player with a can-do attitude
* Calm under pressure with attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Innovative thinking and initiative
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
* Willingness to travel as needed
