Pay:£14.80 per hour weekdays £15.23 per hour night shifts & Saturday day shift. We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, adaptable and reliable support worker to join our team and provide tailored support to a young man with complex needs.

This rewarding role requires someone who can offer flexible support and make a positive difference in his life with daily activities, promoting independence and ensuring his physical and emotional wellbeing.

As her support worker you will support this client both within a busy home and a community setting, helping her to lead a fulfilling life and achieve her personal goals, your role will be diverse.

Due to the location of the role you must have a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

o Deliver personalized care and support to our client
o Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
o Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
o Accompany client in the community on 2:1 ratio.
o Provide emotional support and companionship.
o Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
o Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

o Experience in a similar role, within a family household.
o Experience with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Dysphagia and/or Epilepsy desirable – or a willingness to learn!
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
o Awareness of accessibility - knowledge of wheelchair friendly routes, transport and venues.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Flexibility to work the specified hours.
o Valid UK driver's license.
