Doveleigh Care Limited, are excited to be recruiting for Activity Support Workers on a part time basis to join our successful residential care group in Devon. We are hiring for Dove Lodge which is located in the lovely town of Exmouth.

Dove Lodge are looking for a team player who can support in providing a customised, responsive and high quality programme of activity. As well as showing consideration for the needs, wishes and desires of the individual residents living within Dove Lodge and to empower residents to live as independently as possible with appropriate levels of support.
Please see below some of the responsibilities and requirements that are involved with this role:
* Proactively identify resident activity needs and wishes through assessment, observation, discussion and then support each resident to fulfil such wishes
* Liaise with residents, relatives, friends and staff, to ensure full knowledge of each resident's likes, dislikes, interests and abilities
* Explore the most appropriate methods and resources for meeting activity needs including group events, individual sessions, involving internal and external resources and community-based resources
* Maintain written records of resident participation, evaluation and positive outcomes of activities
* Advertise and promote the planned program in a manner which encourages the involvement of all residents, relatives and staff

Experience preferred but not essential as ongoing training and support is given.
This is can be a full or part time role. This job will require some weekend work.
A Manual Driving License essential
All Activity Organisers must be willing to work under the direction and instruction of the Directors, Management Team and Team Leaders.
