Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the audit and data teams at T2 Group. This hybrid role involves supporting our staff with data and compliance tasks. The position may evolve into a specialized team role in the future.
Our goal is to provide an excellent learning experience while ensuring compliance with our responsibilities to learners, employers, government, and funding bodies. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Role Purpose:
To be a vital member of our audit & data teams by verifying learner files for completeness and accuracy, supporting operational staff with data and regulatory queries, and ensuring accountability and compliance with statutory requirements to validate proper fund usage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verify that learners' eligibility for government funding is adequately documented.
2. Conduct interim checks during learners' progression to ensure data reliability and targeted support.
3. Audit completed learner files to confirm all necessary documentation is collected for funding claims.
4. Maintain concise and accurate audit records, and communicate findings and improvement suggestions to the Senior Auditor.
5. Participate in specialized deep dive audit projects as needed.
6. Support operational staff by responding to data and regulatory queries via the Data Queries email account.
7. Manage learner employment transfer calculations and update the employment transfer database.
8. Provide reactivation calculations for retentions and operations.
9. Process registration reports.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Confidence in decision-making and taking responsibility for tasks.
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines, including remote work reporting to the Senior Auditor.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
* High attention to detail.
* Teamwork and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (training provided if needed).
* Understanding of Apprenticeships funding (training provided if needed).
