Duty Manager (Inside M25) - Debden Iceland. As one of the Best Big Companies to Work For, we have a rich history of loving our customers and looking after our teams. We understand that success is achieved through our people, and we are searching for a committed and passionate Duty Manager to join our growing business. As Duty Manager you will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a 2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts.
Responsibilities
* Have a clear focus on delivering great availability for your customers.
* Play an active role in your store to "+sell a 1 & save a 1" to help drive sales.
* Deliver on all agreed actions set for you by your line manager.
* Engage, develop & retain great people: Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
* Support team engagement in your store.
* Play a part in creating an inclusive culture where everyone can be their best.
* Take a proactive approach to personal development and share your own knowledge to support up-skilling the team.
* Doing the right processes and doing them right: Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk focusing on what the customer sees.
* A positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep always aiming to be the best place to shop.
* Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.
* Play your part in providing the best digital service through implementing all "One Best Way" processes.
* Leadership: Your leadership approach should be at the heart of everything you do, to get the best from your team to give the best to our customers: Love your customers by being approachable.

Qualifications
* Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
