A large central government department is scaling its Asset Information Management capability and needs a Government Soft Landings (GSL) expert to drive consistency, data quality, and operational readiness across a national estate.
The Opportunity
Youll champion Government Soft Landings (BS 8536), ensuring projects are delivered and perform against expected standards. From capital delivery through to operational handover, youll make sure asset data is accurate, assured, and genuinely useful.
This is a high:impact role, blending GSL leadership, asset insight, and data storytelling.
Lead and embed the Soft Landings approach across multiple projects Own the golden thread of asset information : accuracy, accessibility, assurance Bridge the gap between project delivery and operational asset management Turn complex data into clear dashboards and insights (Power BI / Excel) Drive performance reporting, KPIs, and assurance frameworks Support Post Occupancy Evaluations (POE) and continuous improvement Collaborate across estates, FM, supply chain, and delivery teams Requirements: Background in construction, FM, design, or asset management Strong grasp of information management across the asset lifecycle Advanced Excel / Power BI skills with a knack for storytelling through data Confidence engaging both technical and non:technical stakeholders
