Nutricia UK is the highly successful arm of Danone's Medical Nutrition business, and a leader in the market, working to make medical nutrition an integral part of healthcare. Nutricia is the dietetic voice in the business - we use clinical and nutritional knowledge for our ultimate goal of improving outcomes for patients.
The Clinical Territory Manager role is a key part of the Paediatric Sales team, managing their own business within the territory - Sussex and Hampshire. This role supports customers in both Primary and Secondary care and builds relationships and delivers clinical and commercial messaging to drive sales of our Paediatric portfolio. The role also drives and implements the guideline and pathway strategy (allergy and growth) through close cross functional working.
Key Activities include:
BUSINESS PLANNING AND TERRITORY MANAGEMENT
1. Develop and implement cross functional account plans aligned to national strategic priorities
2. Monitor performance and delivery against business plans and activity targets, and provide monthly business reviews to the paediatric RBM
3. Identify and profile Key Opinion Leaders and Key Influencers. Devise specific action plans for their management with cross functional input from medical/marketing
PATHWAYS/GUIDELINES/FORMULARIES:
4. Work with the adult contract account manager to optimise paediatric portfolio usage across hospital settings: optimise Nutricia contract formulary listings, drive niche product listings in competitor contracts and drive branded discharge
5. Achieve positive formulary and guideline product listings through influence of key HCP/NHS stakeholders
6. Monitor and track guideline performance, across territory with support of paediatric RBM
CUSTOMER IMPACT AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
7. Deliver against key opinion leader/ influencers plan within ICS/PCN/HB and other NHS bodies through cross functional working
8. Clinical stakeholder management to deliver superiority messages.
9. Support the Nutricia enteral feeding contracts where required
10. Involvement in customer symposiums, educational meetings as appropriate in line with account plans
About You
We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:
11. NHS Customer and Category knowledge, and Primary/ Secondary Care sector experience preferable but not essential
12. A track record of sales and account management ideally within healthcare industries
13. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management skills, ideally gained within a sales environment
14. the ability to understand & communicate clinical evidence with impact
15. Commercial acumen and strong data analysis skills
Salary Bracket: £45,000 - £50,000. We’ll also provide you with a company car & fuel card.
16. Our field-based principles mean you’ll need to be living in Hampshire or Sussex. If you're unable to relocate, we will not be able to consider your application for this role.
17. You will also need to hold a full UK driving license and must be comfortable with regular driving to meet with your customers.
