We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Carrstone House Care Home in Downham Market.
About the Role
Your focus as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents’ physical, psychological, and social well‑being and to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
* Plan and submit a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
* Arrange activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
* Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to the positive and professional image of the home.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous work with older people in a residential nursing/dementia setting.
* Experience organising activities and events.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
Additional Requirements
* ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
