Expected to earn at least £40,000 - £50,000 in first year OTE About the Role We are seeking a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Belfast team, focusing exclusively on the New York City market. You will play a pivotal role in building relationships with US-based clients and candidates, delivering high-quality recruitment solutions, and helping to expand our presence across one of the worlds most competitive markets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, target-driven, and eager to build a career in international recruitment. Key Responsibilities Proactively develop new and existing client relationships within the NYC market. Manage the full recruitment cycle: from sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates, to negotiating offers and managing client relationships. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates through networking, headhunting, and market mapping. Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team targets. Provide market insight and guidance to both clients and candidates. Collaborate with colleagues in Belfast and internationally to share knowledge and best practices. Stay informed about US labour market trends, regulations, and sector developments. Requirements Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or business development (agency background preferred but not essential). Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport across different cultures. Ambition, resilience, and a results-driven mindset. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to align working hours partially with US time zones.
