Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven New Business Sales Broker to join our established high‑performing team. In this role, you will take ownership of identifying and converting new business opportunities while uncovering cross‑sell potential to maximise client value and revenue growth.
You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, leveraging targeted outreach, inbound demand, and ongoing marketing campaigns to generate and convert high‑quality leads. With a strong commercial focus, you will drive business growth by delivering tailored solutions, building lasting client relationships, and consistently achieving ambitious sales targets.
Job Purpose
This high‑impact, sales‑driven role focuses on maximising new business opportunities through inbound and warm leads generated across the UK. You will take ownership of incoming client enquiries, capitalise on pre‑qualified warm transfers from our internal lead generation team, and convert opportunities into revenue.
In addition to handling strong inbound demand, you will actively drive outbound activity, engaging with our exclusive Radius client base to uncover and secure new opportunities. You will work with new prospects and existing customers approaching their renewal date, positioning tailored fleet insurance solutions within a critical 30‑day window.
Success in this role requires a proactive, target‑oriented mindset, strong closing skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly—turning every interaction into a potential sale while consistently delivering against ambitious growth and revenue targets.
We would love to welcome you to our new Sheffield office, working hours Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Your Responsibilities Day To Day

* Consistently achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, demonstrating a strong focus on sales performance and revenue generation.
* Maintain excellent pipeline management by promptly following up on all leads, diary appointments, and callbacks to maximise conversion opportunities.
* Deliver a positive, professional customer experience in every interaction, building strong rapport and long‑term client relationships.
* Identify and capitalise on cross‑selling opportunities during the fact‑find process, supporting clients with broader insurance solutions while driving business growth and increased revenue across Radius.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in insurance broking, with strong preference for candidates who have worked within fleet insurance.
* Proactive attitude with a genuine willingness and drive to learn, develop, and continuously improve.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and influence client decisions.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport quickly with prospects and clients.
* Highly organised, self‑motivated, and target‑driven, with a clear focus on achieving and exceeding sales objectives.
* Solid understanding of sales processes and marketing principles, including pipeline management and lead conversion.
* Resilient and positive mindset, with ability to handle objections and rejection while maintaining motivation and performance.
* Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) and lead generation tools is advantageous.
