Proactive Personnel are currently looking for FLT Driver to start work immediately for our client based in Preston.
Candidates MUST have a valid FLT Licence.
Duties include:
1. Operate appropriate machinery, plant and forklift trucks, as required, to always maintain the safe and efficient operation of the site.
2. Ensuring production targets are met by optimising throughput whilst working as a team with other operators and site staff.
3. Maintain a safe working environment throughout your activities, including keeping working area tidy and access to walkways and emergency exits clear.
4. Checking of incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site licence, and permitted waste types.
5. Cleaning experience, cleaning up the warehouse and associated areas
6. Securing loads, loading/unloading customers, quickly, safely and methodically
Requirements:
7. Hold a current Forklift truck licence
8. To be physically fit and to have good stamina as heavy lifting may be involved
9. To be hardworking and have a strong work ethic
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 16:00pm- 12:30am.
