Full time hours on a temporary basis
Main Responsibilities
Customer & Stakeholder Support
* Provide clear, professional advice and support to customers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, colleagues and clients on service‑related matters.
* Manage and respond to enquiries via the team mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
* Create and maintain standard email and letter templates to support consistent customer communication.
* Cover office telephones and handle general enquiries with a high level of customer service.
Operational Administration
* Gather, input, analyse and report information using our Waste Management System.
* Allocate worksheets to Waste Minimisation Officers, ensuring tasks are assigned to the appropriate team member.
* Monitor the Councillors’ Portal (Firmstep), input enquiries into internal systems, allocate to the correct investigating officer, and track responses to completion.
* Administer formal customer complaints by allocating cases and monitoring them through to resolution, ensuring all actions meet required timescales and standards.
Service Efficiency & Improvement
* Maintain accurate records and service data to support operational planning and performance monitoring.
* Support ongoing improvements to customer communication, workflow processes, and service delivery.
