About the role:
The role of the Accounts Payable Manager is a key role in the EU/UK Financial Operations team, bringing technical knowledge and managerial experience to ensure that all aspects of Purchase Ledger processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Accounts Payable Manager will ensure that the workflow of processes is managed, tasks / systems are improved where appropriate, and staff are developed to ensure that the team provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Managing the interaction with the outsourced team at WNS will be key to success in the role.
Core Skills:
* Expertise in Business Travel sector (expense management, corporate card programs)
* Experience of managing a Purchase Ledger Team, with strong cross functional knowledge of Finance Operations processes
* Ability to motivate and develop members of the team
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* The ability to work with offshored support and drive the best value from this team
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Previous involvement with system implementations and change management would be an advantage
