This well-known private practice firm with a long standing and strong focus on the public sector has identified a need to bring in either - an already established, or first step pensions partner, to lead on public sector pensions work.
The firm is very well placed in the public sector with clients spanning local and central government, education, health and the third sector, and has a long history of advising these clients in relation to pensions work. As part of the firm’s ongoing development of the pensions group the leadership have identified an opportunity for a partner to take the lead on public sector pensions work nationally - the role could be based in any of their regional offices (Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh).
The role is open to established or first step partners as well as counsel level candidates. A following is required, particularly for already established partners, although there is flexibility given the nature of the sector and work. Of particular importance is a deep understanding of the sector from a technical and operational perspective as well as good contacts and relationships in the area.
