Job Description:
Leonardo is seeking a mission systems focused Field Service Representative (FSR) to join Leonardo Saudi Ltd (LDOS) as part of a team based at King Khaled International Airport, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
In this role you will provide direct support related to the operational aspects of the avionics equipment installed on the AW139 Saudi Royal Aviation helicopters operating in KSA.
In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Providing technical expertise on mission systems related to the defensive aids system (DAS) installed on the helicopters, supporting the customer in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
2. Diagnosing and rectifying faults on the Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) equipment
3. Generating electronic warfare libraries (including radar warning receiver, chaff and flare dispensing, audio alerts and symbology) using dedicated tools
4. Supporting the customer in the procedural use of on-board systems
5. Assisting the customer in managing and analysing flight-recorded data downloaded into mission debriefing files for use in future missions
6. Providing technical support for on-board DAS training delivered to pilots, including the use of in-flight training tools
7. Ensuring all work complies with company policies, site-specific governance, and applicable legislation
8. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the customer, prime contractor, and other partner organisations
9. Maintaining all required training, authorisations, and documentation (e.g. vaccinations, passports, visas) to ensure ongoing eligibility to perform the role
10. Supporting the customer’s operational requirements as needed
It is essential that you have:
11. Experience working in an engineering capacity with aircraft and/or in an aircraft maintenance environment
12. A customer-focused mindset that balances customer priorities with business needs
13. The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and without ambiguity to a diverse range of customers and stakeholders across different levels of seniority and cultural backgrounds.
14. A full UK Category B driving licence
15. The flexibility to work shifts — primarily day shifts, with occasional alternative shifts by management agreement
It is highly desirable that you have:
16. Experience working with Electronic Surveillance Measures (ESM) and/or Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) equipment at Maintenance Levels 1 and 2 (ML1 and ML2)
17. Practical mission-systems experience — from preparing pre-flight messages and generating electronic warfare libraries to analysing mission data for future operations
18. Knowledge of RF principles and advanced radar theory
19. An HNC (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
20. Experience working on AW139 aircraft
21. Experience operating in offsite locations, such as customer facilities or remote support environments
You don’t need to have specialist product domain knowledge — you’ll be supported by a strong team dedicated to helping you learn and develop in this area.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
